Lisa is coming down for a few days tomorrow, which I’m looking forward to; we’re planning to go and see "Nineteen Eighty-Four" at some theatre in the Barbican (we’re both fans of the book, although she’s the real literature geek; she gets things like that on a much deeper level than I do). If you’re interested, it’s the Western College Players.
I’m also hoping to buy new socks. Shopping with Lisa is much more interesting than shopping alone, since we both consider the vast majority of stuff in shops, especially clothes shops, to be completely ridiculous. Charity shops are your friend. :)
(Note that this wasn’t intended to be the highlight of Lisa’s visit, just something I put off so as to make it less painful by doing it with her…)
